The 85-8H is one of EMG's double-coil active pickups for eight-string guitars. It's designed to simplify access to a wide range of sounds. Inspired by the EMG 85 model, it features Alnico V magnets that produce a powerful sound with good clarity, ideal for a variety of playing styles.
