EMG's 85X White is a pickup that expands the playground of the X series. It develops a more open sound texture, while retaining the warmth of Alnico V magnets. Leads breathe, rhythms growl, even in open tuning.
Mount it on the neck for a thick, well-defined base. Or place it in the bridge for precise attacks without excessive brilliance. The balance between punch and clarity remains constant.
Solderless wiring simplifies changes. Each component is integrated into a well-honed logic. You get everything you need: potentiometers, cables, jacks, screws and springs.
Built-in VLPF technology refines treble response. Background noise remains incredibly low, even with heavy saturation. And it all works without ground wires.
