Presentation
Based on the EMG 707 pickup, designed for 7 strings, the EMG 909 has been developed to meet the constraints of 9-string guitars. EMG has increased the size of the coils and used Alnico V magnets to enhance bass definition, which is often blurred on these instruments, while maintaining a natural balance across the rest of the spectrum.
The EMG 909 can be used both on the bridge and the neck, guaranteeing an even, precise sound across the entire neck. It's perfect for styles that demand a clean, articulate sound, such as modern metal, djent or progressive rock.
This pickup is compatible with EMG accessories such as the VLPF, EXG, SPC or RPC, as well as all other EMG pickup models, making it easy to integrate into your existing setup and customise your sound to suit your needs.
Installation is made easy by a solderless system, which eliminates the need for soldering and makes assembly accessible to everyone.
