The EMG H1 Bridge Chrome is a pickup that rocks with its over-wound coils. It crunches dry in the bridge position, while maintaining great clarity. Solderless installation makes life easier. It's passive, without batteries, but with plenty of bite. No need for tools or excuses.

Presentation
The EMG H1 Bridge Chrome pickup remains passive, but pushes very hard. Its over-wound coils deliver a tight response, well tensioned in palm mute. The ceramic/steel magnet stabilises the whole thing. You can play loud, but it's still legible.
In bridge mode, the pickup roars to life over old-school rhythms. It keeps air in the attacks. Its frequency drops to 1.65 kHz with a long cable, perfect for vintage rock sounds. It breathes better with 500k pots, and just as well, they're included.
You also get complete EMG cabling, with power bus, mono jack, IDC wires and bridge ground cable. The whole thing can be fitted without soldering. No batteries, no hassle.
It fits standard Tune-O-Matic cavities. Just bear in mind the length of the wires if you're working on a slightly tight fretboard. The dimensions are classic, 78.5 x 38.1 mm, for 160 grams. Nothing unusual. But this pickup stands out from the crowd.
