EMG's H1 Neck Chrome pickup with ceramic/steel magnets has character, but without overpowering your playing. Positioned on the neck, it keeps the air between notes. The fully loaded coils add oomph without weighing you down. Solderless assembly, no batteries: just plug it in, play, and it's ready to rock from the first attack.

Presentation
The EMG H1 Neck Chrome is EMG's cool-headed humbucker. In the neck position, it breathes. The timbre stays open, even when you push a chord that's a little rough. There's no muffled effect, no screaming highs: just grain, well centred.
Overwound coils add bite without betraying your playing. The ceramic/steel magnets do the rest: clean attack, natural sustain, no excess. You're in control, whatever the circumstances.
Installation? A formality. No need for a soldering iron. The connectors are included, as are the pots, screws, cables and mono jack. Even the bridge ground is in the box.
Want to go further? It can be combined with a VLPF or EXG module. Thanks to its standard format and 160 grams, it fits in effortlessly. It's a great way to add character to a neck that's too plain.
