The EMG H1A Black Chrome is a pickup that doesn't show off. Behind its chic bonnet, it hides an expressive vintage soul. The Alnico V magnet combined with steel creates the right balance between smoothness and edginess. The midrange asserts itself, the treble remains soft, and the bass hits without drooling.

In the neck, the sound breathes. In the bridge, it gains in brilliance and density. The over-wound coils add gain without sacrificing definition. The resonant impedance exceeds 80 kOhm: enough to cope without weakening. There's no need for batteries: everything works with passive, solderless cabling. The kit includes the two 500k potentiometers, the jack, the screws, the bridge ground and all the connectors. Quick assembly, immediate results.

This model is for those looking for a sound personality that stands out from the crowd. Neither too wise nor too wild. It remains stable under nervous playing, but retains an expressive finesse for more sensitive riffs. And that makes all the difference when you're looking for a timbre with experience.

The EMG H1A Black Chrome plunges you into a dense, responsive grain. With its Alnico V magnet, it retains a natural response, even on strong shots. The balance between warmth and clarity remains stable, whatever your attack.

Its 7.80 henries inductance provides real bass support. The highs remain smooth, even with moderate saturation. It works just as well in taut solos as in open tunings, always with good sustain across the spectrum.

The solderless cabling is designed to save time. You get everything: cables, pots, screws, jack, tailpiece. All installed without the need for complex tools.

It integrates perfectly into an existing HZ circuit. Its 49 mm spacing is suitable for classic Tune-o-Matic. So this pickup slips easily into a Gibson configuration, without any alterations or adjustments. A great way to revive a vintage guitar without changing its personality.
