Looking for a neck pickup with a warm, precise grain? The EMG H1A-N uses Alnico V magnets and a tight coil to enrich your chords and solos. The solderless system makes installation quick and easy, and it works perfectly with other EMG-HZ pickups as well as VLPF, EXG or SPC modules.

Enhance the sound of your guitar with the EMG H1A-N pickup in black chrome finish, a passive humbucker meticulously designed to produce a rich, vintage-inspired tone. Unlike its ceramic-equipped counterpart, the H1A-N uses Alnico V magnets and over-wound coils to create a warm, articulate response. Thanks to this design, the neck position gains a creamy smoothness. Your lead lines glide effortlessly and your chords resonate with a full, rich sound.
The H1A-N features dense mids and softer highs that recall the character of vintage humbuckers, yet remain clear and precise for modern playing.
With its 13.65 kΩ DC resistor and 7.80 H inductance, it imbues each note with a distinctive personality and unique grain. Perfect for blues solos with velvety vocals, deep open chords or clear, detailed arpeggios, it also adapts to light crunch passages without becoming messy.
Thanks to the EMG solderless system, installation is quick and straightforward, and it's still compatible with a whole range of accessories for fine-tuning your sound to your personal taste.
