The EMG H1A-N has that warm, nuanced vintage grain we love in the neck position, but with enough clarity to make every note stand out. Behind its closed humbucker format and elegant chrome cover lies a passive double coil equipped with carefully selected Alnico V magnets. Thanks to a slightly denser winding than a traditional humbucker, this model delivers a medium output level, perfect for giving more body to chords while retaining clear, singing highs.
Mounted in the neck position, the H1A-N boasts gentle warmth, a rich midrange and articulation that respects every nuance of your playing. Ideal for moving from hushed arpeggios to expressive solos without ever losing definition. The resonance frequency, optimised for natural balance, contributes to this full, dynamic sound.
The practical EMG solderless connection system makes it easy to install and replace the pickup, without the risk of damaging the instrument. Compatible with the full range of EMG modules, including VLPF, SPC and EXG, it allows you to further refine the sound character to suit your needs.
