Presentation
With its ceramic magnet and tight windings, the EMG H3 is a passive pickup designed for guitarists who want a simple alternative to traditional PAFs. It produces a slightly warmer-than-average signal, with accurate bass and clear highs, but without overdrive.
In the bridge position, it gives a good response to rock and metal distortion, with a fairly clean attack. In neck position, the sound remains open, which is useful for chords and softer parts. The solderless connection system makes installation easy, especially if you're using other EMG pickups.
Supplied with 500K potentiometers, it integrates easily into most configurations. The chorme-finish metal cover keeps the look simple.
