Its ceramic/steel magnet gives the H4 an ideal medium-high output: punchy for metal riffs, but dynamic enough for clean jazz. The response at 2.95 kHz (1 MΩ) sculpts tight bass, sharp mids and crystalline highs.
Inspired by the EMG 81, it has the same clarity and precise attack, but without the preamp. Its shielding reduces interference, and its solderless design (complete kit included) makes it easy to assemble.
Perfect for bridging, it excels in distortion and retains a beautiful expressiveness in clean. The 500kΩ pots supplied preserve its balanced tonality.
