The EMG H4A dual-coil pickup is designed for guitarists who want to feel every nuance of their playing, yet still have enough power to play rock, metal or other modern styles.
With its Alnico V magnets and vintage winding, it produces a sound that's both warm and defined, with that little grain that makes it stand out effortlessly in the mix.
In the neck position, it captures all the subtleties of your playing: dynamic attacks, fingerpicking, emotional bends... everything sounds natural. Whether you're playing haunting blues solos, punchy rock riffs or thick doom atmospheres, the H4A stays accurate, even with the amp cranked up all the way. And thanks to its effective shielding, there's no extraneous noise to spoil the fun.
Combined with a more biting bridge pickup (like the EMG H4), it forms a perfectly balanced duo. The kit includes everything you need for a quick, seamless installation, and you can even fine-tune your sound with EMG accessories.
