The Jim Root Daemonum JROOT-F-B-BLK pickup has been thought through and refined over several years, reflecting the guitarist's obsession with detail. At the crossroads between the Retro Active series and the classic EMG 81/60 duo, this signature model has a personality all its own.
Its clarity is formidable, and its attack is razor-sharp. The neck pickup is fitted with ceramic pads, for a more percussive and precise high-frequency response.
This duo has been designed to meet the demands of modern metal, while retaining great versatility. The Retro Active preamp built into each pickup brings an unexpectedly rich harmonic response for active humbuckers. Thanks to the solderless cabling system supplied, installation is quick, clean and accessible.
All the necessary components are in the box, including potentiometers, cables and full connectivity.
