Ceramic/steel magnets add bass density, attack precision and treble stability. A powerful base for energetic playing. With its 2 volts standard output (4.5 max), it spits out a high level without ever saturating. Background noise remains inaudible, even at 60 Hz. The resonance frequency stabilises at 2.5 kHz.
No need for earthing: you plug it in, it sounds. EMG's solderless wiring makes installation a snap. Everything you need is supplied, including insulating foam and connectors. It operates on 9V but supports up to 27V. At 18V, it frees up even more dynamic headroom.
Designed for 4-string Music Man basses, it handles standard spacing of up to 63.5 mm.
