Designed for 4-string basses, the EMG 35TW offers an original approach: a single pickup capable of delivering two sonic personalities, thanks to an integrated push/pull pot.
In single-coil mode, it uses EMG's JCS, a pickup with ceramic and steel magnets that delivers a smooth, natural response and precise attack. It's the perfect playground for fans of funk, soul or jazz sounds. When you pull back on the knob, you instantly switch to the more aggressive double-coil (CS) mode, with plenty of reserve gain, a strong midrange and a sound that stands out in the mix.
This dual personality makes it an excellent choice for musicians exploring a range of styles, from mellow groove to heavy rock. The 35TW lets you adapt your sound to suit the context, without having to fiddle with your amp or add pedals.
