Guitar Microphone

The EMG PJCSX set combines a PCSX Precision neck pickup and a JCSX Jazz bridge pickup, both equipped with ceramic/steel magnets. This active duo produces a smoother attack, great warmth and a wide frequency response. Perfect for alternating between slap, fingerpicking and vintage grooves, with no extraneous noise.

ARTICLE N° 109842
The EMG PJCSX set is designed for bassists who want a precise, powerful sound without losing the fluid, expressive feel often associated with passive pickups. It combines a PCSX neck pickup in Precision split coil format with a JCSX bridge pickup in Jazz Bass format. Both use ceramic magnets combined with steel parts, giving a clear, precise sound, but with a softer attack and less aggressive response than the 100% ceramic EMG models.

The integrated X Series preamp lets you exploit the full dynamic range of your playing: whether you're playing slap, round-trip or palm mute, the response remains responsive, without ever saturating or compressing the signal. The result is wide, clean and quiet, with a more subdued top end than EMG's other PJ sets, making it very musical.

It's a good choice for bassists who switch easily between a slamming funk repertoire and more rounded grooves, typified by soul or vintage rock. Installation is solderless, thanks to EMG wiring.
