It's all down to the combination of Alnico V magnets, a winding inspired by the Strat™ years and an X preamp that adds depth and dynamics. The result is a lively, never flat sound that retains beautiful definition even with effects. Ideal for clean or slightly crunchy sounds in blues, funk, pop or light rock contexts.
What's more, EMG makes life easier for the musician: solderless system, components supplied (pots, complete wiring, power splitter, etc.), 9 V power supply and long battery life. The integrated VLPF control lets you adjust the tone without altering the clarity of the signal.
