With the EMG SAX X Series, you'll find the distinctive character of the Strat enriched by the modern technology of a single active coil. Alnico V magnets ensure a natural balance between low and high frequencies, ideal for expressive blues solos, punchy funk rhythms and even more saturated rock passages.
The X Series preamp offers more headroom and nuance, so you can move easily from soft playing to harder attacks without saturating the sound.
The active VLPF tone control adjusts the high frequencies to suit the style of the track, whether it's soft or more aggressive.
Installation is ultra-simple thanks to the solderless circuit, so there's no need to modify your guitar. Complete and easy to assemble, it integrates seamlessly into your setup and retains the personality of a simple coil, with a slightly richer sound.
