Its low resistance/inductance ratio acts as an accelerator for your playing, making it easier to reproduce subtle nuances while maintaining plenty of power. With a resonant frequency of 3.95 kHz, it brings out details that enrich your musical expression, without going overboard.
On the technical side, the SJ delivers a stable output of 2.00 V in normal play and can reach 4.50 V in thump mode. Its noise floor is measured at -101 dB, which is very good. The 9V battery lasts up to 3,000 hours, so there's plenty of time to explore long sessions.
The solderless installation system simplifies set-up, even for those who frequently modify their equipment. Supplied with the necessary cables, potentiometers and screws, this SJ short-format pickup fits all compatible basses, with a maximum recommended string width of 69.2 mm.
