The EMG SJAX Neck Black is a pickup that radically transforms the response of your bass on the neck. With its Alnico V magnet and X Series preamp, it blends vintage warmth and modern dynamics, while retaining good midrange precision. This active microphone shines for its silence: -101 dB of background noise at 60 Hz. Even at high voltages (up to 18 V), the dynamic range remains stable and generous. The result? The SJAX adopts the standard J-Bass format. It fits equally well into a 4-string or 5-string, with 100% solderless wiring. It's quick and easy to install, and can be modulated with EMG BTC or EXB controllers. It's not a pickup: it's an upgradeable system.
On the control side, you get everything you need: volume, VLPF tone (passive simulation), cables, screws and stereo jack. The 3000-hour 9V battery life guarantees total peace of mind.
