EMG's SLV Black is a pickup for players who want to speed up signal transmission. EMG has developed this active pickup to meet the constant strain of modern gaming. The design is based on reliable electromagnetic data: flat Alnico 5 under cap, dense winding, tightened pole.
With an output impedance of 10 kΩ, this model is resistant to signal loss. Its magnetic field remains concentrated, ensuring a peak output at 3 V under rhythmic drive. The resonant frequency, at 3.33 kHz, creates a clear architecture for reactive mid-range frequencies.
Installation is simple, thanks to the EMG solderless system. You get everything: battery cable, power bus, 25k potentiometers, mounting screws, input and output cables. Even the 80 µA current consumption extends battery life to 3000 hours.
