With the SX Black pickup, EMG focuses on the essentials: a pickup that responds instantly, without noise or surprises. Its ceramic magnet picks up the slightest variations in your attack, even in the most extreme styles. Nothing lags and nothing drools.
This single-coil model features a low-impedance preamp for excellent signal sustain. With a strumming output voltage of 3 volts, it delivers what's needed to get through a dense mix. And for those who like to play with sound colour, the VLPF control becomes a real playground.
Installation remains fluid thanks to the connection bus for two microphones, full cabling and standard format (49 mm spacing). The stereo jack and short shaft potentiometer are also included, so there's nothing missing.
With low power consumption (80 µA), a tolerant power supply of up to 27 volts, and over 3,000 hours of battery life, the SX Black stands up to anything. On stage, it supports your groove without flinching. In the studio, it reveals every nuance. A precise tool, but never cold - like a well-placed joke.
