Released in 2011, the Compresor quickly became a favourite with guitarists and bassists looking for something more than the simplistic settings typical of most compression pedals. After consulting feedback from their users, Empress Effects took everything that was good about the original Compressor and created an even better pedal!

In addition to the features and controls normally found on high-end studio compressors, such as a visual monitor for gain and input reduction, independent attack and release controls, a Mix control for parallel compression and an external sidechain insert, we've added a Tilt-type EQ control and a sidechain filter integrated into the detection circuit.
