The ParaEq MKII Deluxe features an improved, compact version of the Empress Effects EQ circuit, combined with Baxandall shelving filters. Its ultra-quiet circuit offers great signal purity and a phenomenal dynamic range of 27V. It features 3 parametric EQ bands, each with 3 bandwidths, and a +30db boost section ideal for solos. Designed with the highest quality components, the ParaEq MKII Deluxe delivers an organic, transparent and smooth sound that enhances the sound of your instrument without masking its purity.

With this reissue, Empress brings you a compact, top-of-the-range version of its ParaEq EQ pedal. The purity of the audio path has been perfected, offering an ultra-quiet circuit and a fearsome 27 volts of dynamic range.
The case has also been reduced in size, with inputs and outputs on the top, taking up less space.
The case of this ParaEq Deluxe incorporates 3-band parametric equalisation, with 3 bandwidths each, to give you access to extremely flexible and precise equalisation.
A wide band gives you transparent global adjustment, a medium band guarantees precise midrange adjustment, while a narrow band lets you eliminate parasitic frequencies or feedback.
The boost section offers +30dB of clear boost, can be configured to activate with the EQ section and act as a gain for subtractive equalisation. The ideal solution for increasing the volume of your solos or attacking your tube amp to get more saturation.
This Deluxe version also incorporates Baxandall high and low shelving filters, giving you even greater control over your sound, as well as 12dB/oct high-pass and low-pass filters for maximum clarity and the ultimate in guitar EQ.

The signal path of the ParaEq MKII and ParaEq MKII Deluxe includes a selection of the highest quality components to deliver a perfectly organic sound. Transparent, smooth EQ enhances your sound without masking the purity of your instrument's sound, whether guitar, bass, synth or vocals. Dynamics have been increased to 27 volts internally, making this EQ virtually impossible to overload. The advanced configuration allows you to define whether the bypass is true bypass or with buffer, to define the independence between the EQ and boost settings, and to define the power-on configuration.
