Epiphone - Jack Casady Bass Sparkling Burgundy
The Jack Casady Signature Bass was designed by Rock and Roll Hall of Fame legend Jack Casady and is the culmination of years of experimentation by bassist Jefferson Airplane and Hot Tuna to find an instrument with an electric sound, and the response of an acoustic bass. Sparkling Burgundy finish
Presentation
A true benchmark in the world of semi-hollow basses, this signature model stands out for its ability to combine electric punch with the acoustic depth of a double bass, meeting the expectations of the most demanding bassists.
The semi-hollow body in laminated maple offers exceptional natural resonance, enhanced by an elegant and glossy Sparkling Burgundy finish. The laminated maple top, back and sides are enhanced by a cream binding that brings a refined touch to the whole.
The mahogany neck, with a comfortable C-shaped profile, is topped with an Indian laurel fingerboard adorned with trapezoidal inlays, guaranteeing smooth and precise playability across its entire 34-inch scale length.
At the heart of this bass is the low-impedance JCB-1 humbucker pickup, specially designed by Jack Casady. This unique pickup is paired with a three-position impedance rotary switch, allowing you to switch from a smooth, subtle response to a more biting, punchy tone, ideal for any playing style.
Complementing the controls are volume and tone knobs for precise adjustment.
The three-point adjustable bridge provides impeccable stability and sustain, while the Clover button tuners ensure reliable tuning. The custom pickguard, with embossed “E” logo, adds a signature touch to this distinctive-looking bass.
The Jack Casady Bass Sparkling Burgundy offers you a rich and versatile tonal palette, accompanied by a timeless aesthetic. An ideal choice for bassists looking for an instrument that is both innovative and steeped in history.
