Epiphone is proud to introduce its third signature model designed in partnership with the incredibly talented Matt Heafy of Trivium: the Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins. The instrument features two custom Fishman Fluence pickups, each of which delivers three distinct tones!
Presentation
Designed for exceptional tonal versatility, this guitar features specially tuned Fishman Fluence pickups. These provide an expansive tonal palette, allowing you to switch from modern active humbucking to passive or even crystal-clear single-coil tones, thanks to push-pull coil-splitting and voicing switches.
The mahogany body, which is lightened for extended playing comfort, is topped with a maple top that adds a touch of brightness to the tones. The mahogany neck features a SpeedTaper D-shaped profile, designed for fast and fluid playability, while the contoured heel provides easy access to the upper registers, ideal for complex solos and aggressive rhythms.
On the hardware side, the Tune-O-Matic LockTone bridge and the Stop Bar LockTone tailpiece guarantee optimum stability and excellent vibration transmission. The Grover Rotomatic self-locking tuners, equipped with tulip buttons, ensure precise and reliable tuning, even during the most intense performances.
Visually, this guitar imposes itself with its glossy Bone White finish, its gold hardware and its multi-ply binding which underlines its sophisticated look. The black control knobs in ribbed metal, the black pickup selector and the signed truss rod cover add modern and distinctive details.
Delivered with a Custom hardshell case, the Matt Heafy Les Paul Custom Origins is a real stage beast, combining Les Paul tradition and technical innovations to meet the demands of contemporary guitarists.
