ESI Audiotechnik - Xkey25

The Xkey 25 from ESI Audiotechnik has been designed for musicians and producers who want to keep a real keyboard close at hand, without the hassle of a bulky controller. With 25 full-size keys spread over two octaves, it retains the exact dimensions of a traditional piano keyboard, while adopting an extremely slim and lightweight format. This approach allows you to work in familiar conditions, both in the studio and on the move, without compromising on ergonomics.

Velocity sensitivity and polyphonic aftertouch put the Xkey 25 in a class of its own for such a compact controller. Each key reacts independently to the pressure applied, allowing precise control of nuances, filters or effects, directly from the playing position. This capability, usually reserved for high-end keyboards, opens up advanced possibilities for expression with virtual synthesizers, orchestral instruments or sound design environments.

The anodised aluminium chassis provides both rigidity and elegance. Despite its extreme slimness, the keyboard inspires confidence and easily withstands repeated use on the move. It integrates naturally with all MIDI sequencers and applications, whether you need to control a DAW, a software synthesizer, notation software or a live performance environment.

To accompany the keyboard, ESI provides a selection of software so you can start producing straight away. A multi-track sequencer, mobile workstation and audio editor are included, providing a coherent environment for composing, recording and finalising projects on both computer and tablet.
