Presentation
Expressive E Soliste is a suite of virtual instruments dedicated to expressive solo strings, developed to take full advantage of the capabilities of MPE and next-generation controllers. Rather than a single instrument, Soliste brings together four distinct instruments: violin VLN 356, viola VLA 419, cello CLO 759 and double bass DBS 1130. Each module has been designed to reproduce the nuances, articulations and dynamic variations of a real string instrument.
Designed with composers, musicians and sound designers in mind, Soliste gives extremely detailed control over each note, with independent management of pressure, vibrato, pitch and expression. This approach delivers a much more organic performance than traditional orchestral banks, particularly when used with MPE controllers such as Osmose, Seaboard or Touché.
The four instruments have specific sonic behaviours adapted to their register and natural playing. Lyrical violin, warm viola, deep cello or expressive double bass can be used separately or combined in cinematic, modern or experimental productions.
Compatible with all the major plug-in and DAW formats, Soliste is a high-end solution for users looking for a realistic, expressive interpretation of solo strings in a modern software environment.
