Osmose Expressive E marks a real breakthrough in the world of keyboards and synthesizers. Designed in France after ten years of research by the Expressive E teams, this 49-key stand-alone synthesiser offers a new way of approaching keyboard playing. Every note becomes a gesture: press, squeeze, release, slide... The Osmose keyboard is sensitive in three dimensions, and transforms every interaction into subtle sound modulation. It's an expressive instrument in the full sense of the word, designed to enrich performance far beyond the mere release of notes.
Powered by the powerful EaganMatrix engine developed by Haken Audio, Osmose offers over 500 immediately playable presets, whose complex textures react to the slightest movement. In addition to its function as a stand-alone synthesizer, Osmose acts as a MIDI controller compatible with MPE, poly aftertouch or classic MIDI, making it perfectly integrated into a modern studio: it can drive MPE-compatible virtual synths, standard software instruments or hardware machines.
With its assignable macros, onboard effects, intelligent arpeggiator and colour screen, Osmose offers total, intuitive control over the sound. Every preset is effortlessly customisable, and the playing experience is fluid, immersive and inspiring. The keyboard also features two assignable pedal inputs and MIDI DIN and USB connections for maximum flexibility.
Made from 66% recycled materials, easily dismantled and supplied with a full software editor, Osmose Expressive E is not just another controller or synth: it's an organic instrument designed to extend the musical gesture.
