Presentation
The Jim Adkins JA-90 Telecaster Thinline Natural by Fender is a signature guitar that reflects the sonic universe of the singer and guitarist of Jimmy Eat World. Inspired by the Telecaster Thinline, it combines a semi-hollow ash body with an f-hole, offering an elegant aesthetic and natural resonance.
The glued maple neck, with its modern 'C' profile, ensures excellent stability and fluid playability. The Indian Laurel fingerboard, with 22 Medium Jumbo frets and a 9.5" radius, provides optimum comfort for both chords and solos.
The Seymour Duncan SP90 pickup configuration, in neck and bridge positions, delivers powerful, expressive tones. These Soapbars offer a rich palette of tones, from warm textures to more incisive attacks, ideal for exploring different musical styles. The two independent volumes and two independent tones, combined with the three-position selector switch, allow precise control of tone.
The Adjusto-Matic bridge with fixed tailpiece ensures accurate intonation and enhanced resonance, while the chrome hardware and black 3-ply pickguard complete a clean, distinctive look. The JA-90 Telecaster Thinline Natural is designed to accompany musicians in their creative explorations, both in the studio and on stage.
