The Fender Player II Mustang Bass PJ Rallye Orange guitar is a short scale electric bass equipped with an alder body and PJ Player Series AlNiCo V pickup configuration. It features a Modern C profile maple neck with a 9.5″ radius fingerboard and 30″ scale, designed for smooth, responsive playing. Simple tuning and a four-bridge steel bridge provide tuning stability and balanced articulation.

Presentation
The Fender Player II Mustang Bass PJ Rallye Orange is a solid body electric bass designed for bassists who want to combine comfort and versatility. It features a streamlined alder body with a Gloss Polyester finish in Rallye Orange. The maple neck has a Modern C profile. The rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5″ (241 mm) radius with rounded edges. The instrument includes 19 medium jumbo frets and a 30″ (762 mm) scale. The nut is synthetic bone with a width of 1.5″ (38.1 mm).
The PJ electronics configuration combines a Player Series AlNiCo 5 single-coil Jazz Bass® pickup in the bridge position with a Player Series AlNiCo 5 split-coil Precision Bass® pickup in the centre position. This combination allows you to explore a sonic palette ranging from deep lows to articulate mids and present highs. The 3-position switch lets you select the bridge pickup, the 2 pickups together or the centre pickup. The instrument is controlled by a Master Volume and Master Tone for intuitive use.
The standard bridge features 4 single-grooved steel bridges for precise intonation and playing stability. The open-gear action combines vintage style with modern reliability. The fittings have a nickel/chrome finish with a 3-ply Parchment cover plate. The control knobs are black plastic with white indicators. The string guide is Vintage-Style Disc. Fender® USA 7250M Nickel Plated Steel (.045-.105) strings are fitted as standard.
