The Fender Player II Precision Bass Rallye Orange is a solid body bass guitar featuring a Precision Bass® Player Series split-coil pickup with AlNiCo V magnets. It features a contoured alder body, maple neck with Modern C profile and a 9.5″ radius maple fingerboard with 20 medium jumbo frets. The bridge has 4 ridged steel bridges and the tuning machines have exposed gears for stable, precise tuning.

The Fender Player II Precision Bass Rallye Orange is a bass designed for reliable, straight-ahead playing in both live and recording environments. Its streamlined alder body is finished in Gloss Polyester in Rallye Orange. The maple neck has a Modern C profile with a satin urethane finish on the back and a gloss finish on the front. The maple fingerboard has a 9.5" (241 mm) radius with rounded edges for consistent comfort throughout. The instrument features 20 medium jumbo frets spread over a 34" (864 mm) scale.
The electronics are based around a Precision Bass® Player Series pickup with split coil and AlNiCo V magnets. This configuration delivers full bass, present midrange and clean attack response. Adjustments are limited to a master volume and master tone for simple, effective control. The standard bridge features four single-grooved steel bridges. This design makes it easy to adjust intonation and string height.
The open-gear action ensures consistent tuning stability. The fittings have a nickel/chrome finish. The cover plate is 3-ply black/white/black. The control knobs are knurled flat-top. The original strings are Fender® USA 7250M Nickel Plated Steel in .045-.105 gauge.
