ARTICLE N° 91188
The Fender Troy Sanders Precision Bass is a powerhouse designed to meet the needs of legendary Mastodon bassist Troy Sanders. This signature model features a lightweight alder body and distinctive Silverburst finish, paying homage to the aesthetics of the '70s while delivering modern performance. Serving heavy, aggressive music, this bass also knows how to be subtle, allowing you to juggle different styles with ease.

Equipped with a custom pickup configuration, this bass combines a Precision Bass split-coil pickup and a Jazz Bass single-coil pickup, both designed by Tim Shaw. Paired with an active 18-volt preamp, it allows you to shape massive or more delicate tones as needed. Whether you're sending out punchy riffs or more melodic lines, this bass never falters. An active/passive switch is also included, allowing maximum flexibility when playing with different tones.

The maple neck with a '70s-inspired profile and the 9.5-inch-radius rosewood fingerboard ensure impeccable playing comfort, even for the most demanding hands. The medium jumbo frets and mother-of-pearl inlays not only provide a refined aesthetic, but also a smooth and precise playability, ideal for complex bass lines or driving grooves.

Equipped with a HiMass bridge, the Fender Troy Sanders Precision Bass ensures generous sustain and an incisive attack. Visually, it stands out with a Silverburst painted headstock and Troy's signature, accompanied by a custom pattern on the 12th fret. An instrument cut for metal, but which is not afraid to be versatile and inspired in many other musical contexts.
