Tosin Abasi (born 1983) is an American guitarist and composer known for his innovative playing technique, including eight-finger thumping or tapping. Founder of the progressive metal band Animals as Leaders, he has released several acclaimed albums including "The Joy of Motion" and "The Madness of Many". Abasi has collaborated with bands such as Periphery and Born of Osiris, and created the Abasi Concepts guitar to meet his specific technical needs. He is also an advocate for music education, giving masterclasses and workshops to share his knowledge.
