The first OCDs used two Mosfets and a single germanium diode, but very quickly these diodes became increasingly difficult to find and very expensive. Fulltone recently acquired a batch of germanium diodes and bought them all with one idea in mind: to create the ultimate OCD series! A Custom model with a few circuit adjustments using two germanium diodes. This version has the sound of the OCD we know, but with better definition, more tube feel, a slightly wider dynamic range, more sustain and a denser sound.
