Electric Guitar Effects
The Custom Shop Queen Bee is designed with 3 NOS Military Flying Saucer germanium transistors in a circuit that reacts like an amp, responding dynamically to the input signal generated by your guitar and your playing. It fades superbly as you turn down the volume of your guitar, giving soft mids, clarity, sustain, harmonics... It's got it all!

Presentation
The first 2 transistors are configured to reach their maximum gain so as to reach the 3rd transistor with all their power, creating more sustain and saturation than a 2-transistor fuzz while generating low noise given its very high gain.
The Queen Bee also has plenty of midrange!
Fender amp owners will appreciate the Treble passive low-pass control to reduce the treble, and the Bass selector to sculpt the low frequencies (before the 3rd transistor) while keeping the bass precise.
This pedal has a very asymmetrical waveform pitch in the second-order harmonics, culminating in a smooth, rich and dominant channel with plenty of sustain.
Inside is the Bias control for adjusting the calibration of the 3rd transistor from 2 to 6 Volts DC.
A slight change in position can drastically change the sound, volume and compression characteristics.
At a stroke, you go from firmness to softness, from brightness to warmth, from grainy to smooth.
The Queen Bee is true bypass thanks to the Fulltone-designed 3PDT footswitch for maximum signal integrity when the pedal is deactivated.
Because it uses germanium transistors, it can only be powered by a 9-volt battery or a regulated, inverted power supply (with positive centre).
The Fulltone Queen Bee is 100% handmade in the USA.
