The Golden Age Audio P2 is an all-metal pop filter designed for vocalists who need precise breath control while maintaining a natural sound reproduction. Unlike fabric or foam filters, which are often more absorbent, the P2 is based on a double-layer perforated metal structure that diffuses the energy in the air before it reaches the microphone capsule.

This design breaks up the pressure waves caused by explosive consonants such as "P", "B" or "T", while avoiding the muffling effect often associated with soft filters. High frequencies remain open, articulation is preserved and vocal dynamics remain intact, making it a relevant choice for lead vocals, dubbing, voice-overs, podcasts or detailed vocal takes.

The circular metal frame is supported by a rigid flexible arm, providing precise positioning in front of the capsule. The metal clamp system ensures excellent stability on most microphone stands and poles used in the studio or home studio.
