The Hagstrom Fantomen Special Worn Denim is an electric guitar with an asymmetrical look and sharp sound ambitions. Designed in collaboration with Nameless Ghouls, guitarists from the band Ghost, it combines Scandinavian spirit, dark character and meticulous finish. Its gradient blue colouring gives it an elegant but not too wise look, so as not to reassure your neighbours too much. Handy, expressive and dense enough to shake walls effortlessly.

Presentation
The Hagstrom Fantomen Special Worn Denim is no half-measure. With its solid mahogany body and figured maple top, its personality is as assertive as its sustain. The glued neck, carved from the same noble wood, has a slender D-shaped profile, flowing like a gently sloping waterfall. The whole thing is held together by the H-Expander trussrod and resinator fingerboard for rock-solid stability.
Beneath its blue dress, the Fantomen hides two Lundgren humbuckers that are not here to be trifled with. The No. 2 in the neck coaxes warm mid-range tones, while the No. 5 in the bridge cuts to the quick with razor-sharp dynamics. In need of nuance? Each pickup is splittable via push-pull, so you can go from growl to whisper without losing the thread.
With a 648 mm pitch, this Fantomen offers a little more tension under the fingers, a little more attack and a lot more sustain. Access to the 22 frets is as free as an unguarded guitar solo. The 18:1 tuning machines and Tune-O-Matic bridge take care of the tuning, while the stop tail piece takes the vibes, even when you push the machine a little hard.

Behind the mask of Nameless Ghouls, Swedish band Ghost cultivate a visual and sonic universe all their own, somewhere between occult theatricality and vintage hard rock. Their collaboration with Hagstrom is no mere publicity stunt: it reflects a genuine dialogue between Scandinavian musicians and luthiers, with the mission of inventing a tool that is faithful to their mystical aesthetic and their demanding stage requirements.
