Hagstrom - Nekromant 4 Black Gloss Left Handed

The Hagstrom Nekromant 4 Black Gloss Left-Handed is a 4-string electric bass for left-handers that boasts a robust build and a particularly comprehensive set of electronics. Its mahogany body features an asymmetrical single-cut shape, combined with a mahogany neck joined using a mortise-and-tenon joint. The 34" (864 mm) scale length offers a familiar feel for bass playing, with a neck that tapers from 19 mm at the first fret to 20.5 mm at the twelfth. The Resinator™ fingerboard features a 15" (381 mm) radius, 20 Medium Jumbo frets and Hagstrom Block synthetic mother-of-pearl inlays.

The two passive Gehenna soap-bar humbuckers form the heart of this bass. Combined with the on-board 3-band preamp, they open up a wide range of possibilities: the bass, midrange and treble controls can be used to boost or cut frequencies, whilst the preamp gain control and pickup blend allow you to fine-tune the response. The active/passive switch adds another way to approach the instrument. This allows you to switch from a more processed, electronically shaped sound to a more natural pickup response, depending on the track, your amp or your playing style.

The mechanical components follow the same philosophy, featuring a Hagstrom Custom CNC brass bridge fitted with individually adjustable roller saddles. This design promotes precise transmission of vibrations and facilitates string-by-string intonation adjustment. The Hagstrom tuning machines feature a 22:1 ratio for precise tuning, and the nickel-plated black Dome Speed knobs complement the Black Gloss finish.
