Discover the J. Leiva Medina B.Box Black Lacquered and transform your Cajon into a real rhythm engine on stage. Thanks to a pedal system designed to free up the striking face completely, the musician retains his natural playing sensations while adding a real bass drum dimension to the groove. Ideal for enhancing an acoustic or hybrid set without losing space, comfort or freedom of movement.

Presentation
The J. Leiva Medina B.Box Black Lacquered has been designed for musicians who want to move away from traditional Cajon playing and build a wider, more physical groove, almost like a mini drum kit in its own right. The real highlight here is the B.Box system, developed to transform the Cajon into a real rhythmic extension without getting in the way of the hands.
Unlike traditional systems where a pedal hits the front panel with an often cumbersome cable, the B.Box works differently. It is triggered from the side of the drum, leaving the entire striking surface free. In practice, this changes the feel of the instrument enormously: the hands move naturally, the techniques remain fluid, and the musician can enrich the groove with his foot without compromising his playing comfort.
In a live setting, this system quickly adds another dimension. The rhythm can be sustained with a low pulse while the hands continue to work on nuances, ghost notes or drier accents. This independence creates a livelier, fuller style of playing, particularly interesting in acoustic or hybrid ensembles where the Cajon has to carry much of the rhythmic energy.
The system is built around a Russian birch body with a 3mm soundboard and D.T.S. strings that can be adjusted from the outside to ensure a precise response that can be adapted to the intensity of the piece.
