J.Leiva - Omeya Evo Classic

The J. Leiva Omeya Evo Classic Cajon is aimed at musicians who appreciate the traditional aesthetics of the Cajon, but are looking for an instrument that can adapt to today's demands. Its classic design retains a familiar approach to playing, with a natural presence that easily finds its place in an acoustic band, an intimate concert or a rehearsal between musicians.

This model stands out for its deep, generous bass. When played with acoustic guitar or vocals, it provides a solid rhythmic foundation that fills the space without overpowering the rest of the band. The bass hits remain rich and full, while the drier tones retain enough definition to let the groove breathe.

Its construction is based on a seven-ply Eastern European birch phenolic plywood chassis, complemented by an integrated walnut frame. The 3.2mm laminated birch soundboard contributes to the instrument's sensitivity and ability to convey the nuances of playing.

The D.T.S. system uses six externally adjustable V-shaped guitar strings. This design makes it possible to quickly adjust the timbre response to suit the style played or the ambience required. With its black and natural finish, the Omeya Evo Classic retains a sober, timeless character that blends easily into any musical environment.
