Presentation
The J. Leiva Omeya Travel Cajon has been designed for musicians who regularly move from one stage to another, from rehearsal to travel, or from concert to travel. Its main advantage is simple: it's a removable Cajon, developed for ease of transport while retaining the feel and performance expected of a professional instrument.
In practice, this design changes many things. Whether you're travelling by train, metro, bicycle or with your equipment already loaded, the Cajon is easier to transport and integrate into your daily routine. This approach responds directly to the needs of percussionists who want to take their instrument with them without undue constraint.
The Omeya Travel combines several technologies developed by J. Leiva. These include the D.T.S. system, with four strings that can be adjusted from the outside, and the Bass Studio System, designed to enhance the bass sound underneath the instrument. The removable feet also allow you to change the height of the Cajon and exploit different bass configurations to suit the needs of the musician.
Its structure combines a high-density basswood frame with top-quality Russian birch construction to maintain a good balance between solidity and lightness. Supplied with its carry case, this Cajon has been designed to be ready to follow the musician everywhere, without sacrificing playing comfort or sound quality.

Since its launch, the Omeya Travel has won over many professional artists. Percussionists such as Diego Álvarez 'El Negro', Dany Moreno, Juan Carmona and David 'Cupete' have incorporated it into their equipment. It has also been used on major tours and shows such as the David Bisbal Acoustic Tour, Cirque du Soleil, productions by Pitingo, El Barrio and Juan Luis Guerra. This regular presence in professional contexts perfectly illustrates the vocation of this model: to accompany musicians wherever their activity takes them.
