ST Style Guitar
Jet Guitars JS 380 Black Gold The Jet Guitars JS-380 BK G plays on contrasts: a solid roasted poplar body finished in matt black, with all-gold hardware that stands out like a ray of light. The three custom Alnico V single-coil pickups are wired through the 5-way switch to cover the spectrum from surf to blues and funk. The gold tremolo vibrato and self-locking tuners do the rest.

Presentation
The Jet Guitars JS-380 BK G makes a visual statement even before you plug it in: the black of the solid roasted poplar body — top, back and sides — absorbs the light, whilst the gold hardware reflects it. The black pickguard extends this visual contrast. It’s a Stratocaster-style guitar that has forged its own identity.
The use of torrefied poplar is no accident. The thermal process dries the wood deep down and stabilises its structure over the long term, resulting in a more direct sound, less muffled than raw poplar, with a more defined attack. The three custom-model Alnico V single-coils, mounted in an SSS configuration, reproduce the signal with that crystalline clarity and dynamic sensitivity that characterise great single-coils — sharp on the attack, open in the mids, never aggressive.
The Modern C-profile roasted Canadian maple neck fits comfortably in the hand with a straight, symmetrical profile that facilitates extended playing positions. The rosewood fingerboard provides a tonal counterbalance to the dry mids of the poplar: a touch of warmth in the lower mids, a texture under the finger that the roasted maple lacks. The 241.3 mm (9.5") radius, 22 Medium Jumbo frets and 647.7 mm (25.5") scale length form a configuration familiar to Stratocaster players — there’s no need to readjust.
The gold tremolo bridge invites both subtle bends and forceful dives, and the bone nut captures the signal after every return to the open string — aided by the gold self-locking tuners that lock the string as soon as it’s wound. The double-action truss rod and 1-volume/2-tone controls round off an instrument that delivers on its promises both on stage and in the studio.
