Jet Guitars - JS-400 CAR HH

The red finish of the JET Guitars JS-400 CAR HH catches the light even before the first riff – an ST-shaped electric guitar designed for rock. The body, crafted from kiln-dried poplar, is finished in Candy Red; this wood allows the mid-range to breathe without muffling the treble.

Beneath the strings, the tremolo bridge opens the door to vibrato dives and sweeps, whilst the 648 mm scale length maintains the necessary tension to prevent the guitar from going out of tune at the first flick of the wrist. The chrome tuners keep the notes in place, riff after riff.

The steamed Canadian maple neck, shaped to a modern C-profile, glides under the palm without tiring the wrist. The rosewood fingerboard features 22 frets on a flat 241.30 mm radius, ideal for string bends and power chords. A 41.91 mm polymer fibre nut and a double-action truss rod round off this playing architecture.

The HH configuration features two ceramic double-coil pickups – one at the neck and one at the bridge – beneath zebra-striped covers reminiscent of modified Stratocasters. The three-position selector switch toggles between a round tone and a more biting attack, controlled by volume and tone controls, whilst chrome hardware completes the look.

Founded in 2020 by Slovenian designer Primož Virant, JET Guitars designs its models in Slovenia before having them manufactured in China under the supervision of its team – an approach that allows the JS-400 CAR HH to feature modern wood choices at an affordable price.
