ST Style Guitar
Jet Guitars JS 450 TGR R Transparent Green The Jet Guitars JS-450 TGR R stands out from the crowd: reverse headstock, black hardware, a rail-style bridge pickup in an HSS ceramic configuration — all details that signal an instrument tailored for those who don’t want to blend in. The flamed maple top finished in Transparent Green does the rest. Recognisable from a mile away.

Presentation
The Jet Guitars JS-450 TGR R stands out from the very first glance. The inverted headstock literally turns the series’ visual conventions on their head: the high strings start at the long side of the headstock, which slightly alters the tension angle and refines the attack response on the high strings. This is not a cosmetic detail — it is a deliberate design choice.
The flamed maple top on a torrefied poplar body echoes the architecture of the OBL, but the Transparent Green finish completely changes the visual impression. The wood’s flame patterns cut through the green with a depth that stems as much from the material as from the light. The all-black hardware — black self-locking tuners, black pickguard — stands out sharply against the light-coloured top. The contrast is stark. It is intentional.
On the signal side, the JS-450 TGR R stands out with its rail-type bridge pickup: whereas a classic humbucker picks up both coils in parallel across a wide surface, the rail concentrates the pickup on a narrow line, for a tighter, more biting sound, better defined in the saturated mid-range. The 5-way selector switch, combined with the rosewood fingerboard — a dense wood with rounded harmonics — opens up a range of tones that rock, metal and fusion will be able to exploit. The 1.65" (41.9 mm) nut width, 22 frets and Modern C profile with a 9.5" radius maintain the ergonomic hallmarks of the range.
