ST Style Guitar
Jet Guitars JS 480 Black Gold The Jet Guitars JS-480 BK G boasts a black silhouette accentuated by gold hardware that makes an immediate impression. Its custom Alnico V HSS pickups produce either edgy or velvety tones, depending on the 5-position selector switch. The Modern C-shaped, roasted Canadian maple neck ensures a relaxed playing position, even after several hours of playing.

Presentation
The Jet Guitars JS-480 BK G plays on contrast with a black body accented by gold hardware, reminiscent of certain American custom builds from the 1980s. The HSS configuration completely changes the game: punchy humbuckers for tight riffs, and airier single-coil pickups for sparkling arpeggios or funk rhythms that snap under your fingers. You switch between these tones via the 5-way selector switch with a very natural feel.
The roasted Canadian maple neck provides that dry, stable feel that many seek after years of gigging or rehearsals. The Modern C profile remains supple under the palm, whilst the 647.7 mm (25.5") scale length maintains a crisp attack and a tension that’s appreciated in open chords as well as in more forceful bends. This isn’t a neck that fights you. It works with you.
The rosewood fingerboard adds a rounder texture to the touch, with a very balanced 241.3 mm (9.5") radius that allows you to switch between chords and solos without feeling stiff. The 22 medium-jumbo frets allow the left hand’s natural vibrato to flow freely, particularly in more expressive rock or blues passages. A small detail that regular players will quickly notice: the 41.9 mm (1.65") nut width ensures a compact and precise grip.
The roasted poplar body responds with a lovely acoustic liveliness, almost as if the guitar had already been played for years. The gold-plated vibrato ensures smooth, musical bends, supported by gold-plated self-locking tuners that eliminate the need for lengthy tuning sessions between songs. Add to that a double-action truss rod, one volume control and one tone control, and you’ve got an electric guitar that’s just as at home in modern studios as it is with tube amps cranked up a bit too loud. And let’s be honest, that’s often where the best ideas come from.
