Jet Guitars JT 300 Lake Placid Blue The Jet Guitars JT 300 Lake Placid Blue prioritises sound over aesthetics: a roasted poplar body, a Modern C-shaped maple neck, a ceramic SS pickup and a fixed bridge combine to create an electric T-shaped guitar tailored for a bold and direct live performance, far removed from overly polished finishes.

Presentation
The Jet Guitars JT 300 Lake Placid Blue, from SonoVente, is less about shining and more about biting: every plucked string comes through with a crisp attack, typical of T-series guitars. The solid body, crafted from roasted poplar, is lightweight and allows the bass tones to breathe without becoming muddied, whilst the long scale length, inherited from the T-body style, keeps the strings taut and ensures a clear tone from bass to treble.
Carved from roasted Canadian maple, the neck features a Modern C profile that fills the palm without straining it. Its fingerboard, made from roasted maple or rosewood, features a generous radius that smooths out bends and keeps chords round at the nut, where the string spacing allows even the thickest fingers to play comfortably. Twenty-two frets run the length of the neck, and a double-action truss rod adjusts the neck’s curvature in both directions to suit the climate. The nut, made of bone or polymer fibre since 2025, allows the vibration of the strings to pass through without dampening it. A fixed bridge secures each string to the body and channels the energy of the playing into the wood rather than the tuning machines.
On stage or in the studio, the ceramic single-coil pickup delivers a raw sound, perfect for electric rock and blues, whilst the volume and tone controls, adjusted via the three-position switch, shape the tone. The chrome-plated tuning machines and hardware complete the look with a cool finish that echoes the Lake Placid blue of the body.
