Presentation
The Keeley Angry Orange is a pedal that combines 2 legendary circuits to create a unique, totally analogue distortion and fuzz.
Inspired by a Japanese distortion from 1978 and a Soviet fuzz from 1991, it also features two new hybrid sounds that combine these historical references.
Each note benefits from rich dynamics and expressive saturation, reproducing the energy of a classic amp directly in your pedalboard.
With just three knobs and two switches, you have total control over clipping and tone to sculpt your sound exactly as you imagine it.
The Tone Switch lets you choose between two tone circuits: MF-mode offers a scooped, passive sound, while DS-mode emphasises the midrange for greater presence and clarity.
The Clipping Switch offers a choice between Hard Diode Clipping for aggressive distortion and Soft Diode Clipping for a softer, vintage fuzz.
This flexibility allows you to switch easily between classic sounds and original hybrid textures, suitable for everything from blues rock to saturated stoner.
Robust and compact, it fits into any pedalboard with its black and orange metal case. It operates on 9 to 18 V DC (mains adapter not included) and produces a silent True Bypass or Buffered Bypass, activated by holding down the footswitch.
Whether you're in the studio or on stage, this pedal offers easy handling, a precise and inspiring sound, and the chance to explore new combinations of distortion and fuzz, for a result that's always surprising and musically rich.
