The Latin Percussion LP805T-PM is a top-of-the-range conga designed to reproduce the touch and projection sought after by Pedrito Martinez, a leading figure on the contemporary Afro-Cuban scene.

The 3-ply 'deep cut' mango body has an internal layer of fibreglass in the bores, stabilising the structure and boosting response in fast attacks. Internal steel pins add extra rigidity, useful when pushing the volume or working on powerful patterns.

The hand-selected natural skin provides clean articulation and a rich mid-range, ideal for bringing out typical quinto phrases. The patented Top Tuning system allows the instrument to be tuned without having to turn it, a major advantage for quickly adjusting tension in rehearsal or on stage.

Comfort Curve II hoops provide comfortable contact under the fingers and help maintain even tension, even with energetic strokes. The 5/16" tie rods, combined with the Top Tuning side plates, ensure secure tuning and long-lasting stability.
