The Latin Percussion LP807T-PM conga is based on the requirements of the famous musician Pedrito Martinez, renowned for his powerful, nuanced playing, a profile that demands an instrument capable of handling extreme dynamics without losing its sonic personality.

The 30" mango wood body has a deep cutaway that brings out the full bass characteristic of a tumba, while retaining clean articulation in the middle tones. An inner layer of fibreglass reinforces the bores of the body to ensure remarkable structural stability during extended performances.

You benefit from the patented Top Tuning system, designed to adjust tension without rotating the conga, avoiding the usual stresses on the wood and speeding up your transitions. The 5/16" tie rods work in conjunction with the Top Tuning side plates to maintain even tension around the entire circumference of the barrel.

Modified Comfort Curve II hoops provide a supple support surface for open shots and slaps, reducing hand fatigue. The hand-selected natural skin provides a rich response with a round, dense bass, perfect for supporting a full percussive section.
