LR Baggs - Micro Anthem SL SS

The Anthem SL SS from L.R. Baggs is aimed at classical guitarists looking to amplify their instrument without sacrificing acoustic richness. This system combines discretion, reliability and great acoustics with the sensitivity of a nylon-string guitar.

The heart of the system is based on a hybrid combination: a TRU-MIC pickup positioned just 3 mm from the soundboard picks up the mids and highs with finesse, while an Element piezo sensor installed under the saddle takes over the bass. This duo works together via an active crossover, guaranteeing a harmonious balance across the entire spectrum.

The preamp is integrated directly into the 6.35 mm jack, eliminating the need for any visible clutter. The volume control, discreetly positioned under the rose, is easy to access without detracting from the aesthetics of the instrument. For finer adjustments, such as mixing between the two sources, everything takes place inside, protected from pick strokes.

Designed for feedback-sensitive stages, this pickup effectively reduces unwanted feedback thanks to its boundary-effect technology and isolation from internal vibrations. You play, it reacts - without unwanted noise. Percussive musicians will also appreciate its discretion on physical attacks.

The Anthem SL SS installs via adhesive strips and requires a 12 mm hole for the jack output. Nothing excessive, but a visit to a luthier is preferable for perfect installation.
